We had the pleasure of filming an event that was very special, and has pulled on our heart strings. DSW, a home construction company, had given several Veterans a brand new home. Their previous homes were destroyed during  the recent hurricanes we've received this past decade. As we all know that kind of devastation takes not only personal belongings, but also peace of mind. By stepping in and showing their appreciation for our nation's Veterans, DSW has blown us all away with the beautiful homes that they've built and the sense of security that was given to these men. Mr. Brewer and his family loves his brand new home. It is so much more than just a simple house; it's his "mansion", and he couldn't be any prouder of it and DSW. So please enjoy this heartfelt act of generosity, and be prepared to grab some tissues!

This past weekend I had the amazing opportunity to film a marriage proposal. While we have never been asked to do this in 5 years, I was super excited to get this special day on video for this lovely couple. When Henry took Fei to Brenner's On The Bayou for their 2 year anniversary, Fei had no idea what he had planned. After excusing himself for a moment, Henry made sure all preparations were set in place at the downstairs gazebo where he would get to his knee and propose to the girl of his dreams. 

"He makes me feel perfect. You know just... perfect" as Fei said after saying YES!! 
Congratulations you two and may the road of life be a long en joyful one!

I was asked by a fellow photographer who worked with me a little over a year ago if i would be interested in a special project for her local community. Of course we are always up for anything but this one seemed different, i just didn't know it yet. When originally asked, I was only requested as a freelancer to film the video and hand off the footage to the photographer so she could edit it herself and help keep costs down as low as possible. I do these all the time so i did not have a problem with is but something struck me odd. The photographer told me she was going to film the interview questions herself! So when asked what audio equipment she will be using (when responding with none) i just had to step up and fill in the extra time and film everything to ensure the highest quality video (what is video without audio?). 

After the 2 hours filming was complete i went home to package everything up and still something felt wrong with this shoot. I had so much fun filming this shoot that i did not want to hand it off myself, so instead offered to edit it myself. The owners were ecstatic as well as the photographer (i was taking a huge wight off her shoulders since she does not do video at all). After a good 3-4 hours the below video was our final result and i could not be happier with the results!

A few Weeks ago Jwayne Productions was asked to film/photograph the 2015 Red Hat Luncheon which is an amazing opportunity as this is Pearland's largest event/fundraiser! We did this last year and with the help of our previous promo video we believe we helped reach many new guests that would help donate to the facility to increase our community literacy abilities !

This years theme was "Rat Pack" which was a wonderful theme that i felt fit the mood. The slogan was "The Best Has Yet To Come" which is even more exciting because truly we as Pearlander's have not yet reached out maximum potential as a city or community. Oh Wow... We just finished up one of the best wedding we have ever shot! I loved this couple and working with them. They made everything so easy and gave the perfect expressions throughout the whole evening. This is definitely one for the books if you are ready for a beautiful night with amazing scenery & beautiful moments! 

So lets meet the couple. From what i gathered you have the two best combinations you can think of. Chris Hanslik & Jessica Gouvion. Chris seemed like a more easy gong guy who just wants Jessica to be happy and doesn't care to much on the smaller details of things (happy wife, happy life!). While Jessica seemed to me the more outgoing fun and energetic style. A Perfect combination if you ask me!

Without further waiting here are just some of "MY" personal favorites from the night! 

So over the weekend I was asked to film a blog like video for a client. They want to start creating tips and training exercises and more for those who have questions about children with autism or a learning disability.  These answers are from a child's point of view so they are able to relate more closely to those children and will hopefully teach other children not to be afraid of the differences these children may have. 

This first video is learning how to play catch. Although this video may seem pointless to some, it can make a world of difference for others. I myself and looking forward to filming more of these and learning more about how to handle certain situations or activities! 

This is the first of the two new born sessions i shot on the same day when 2 of my past brides called me giving the great news of the newest edition to their family! And i felt extremely honored to have been asked to photograph their early days =). This little girl killed the shoot and made me a forever fan a new born sessions =)
