For the past two years, we’ve had the opportunity to work alongside Fiberlux Pools, documenting fiberglass pool installations across Texas—from Houston and Montgomery to San Antonio and Dallas. No two projects were ever the same. Different yards. Different conditions. Different challenges. But every install shared one thing in common: a story worth telling. From a production standpoint, these projects pushed us in all the right ways. We dealt with harsh midday sun, freezing mornings, blazing summer heat, shifting schedules, crew coordination, and the constant need for creative precision. Pool installs don’t pause for cameras, and moments don’t repeat themselves. No matter what was thrown at us, Jwayne Productions showed up prepared, focused, and ready to capture every phase the way our clients expect—clean, intentional, and professional. Excavation: Where the Story Really Begins The excavation phase was always one of the most visually powerful parts of the process. Watching jackhammers tear through solid rock, dust and smoke rising like controlled explosions, never got old. One day it’s a wide-open backyard. The next, it’s a massive pit—sometimes 6 to 12 feet deep—reshaping the entire space. To most people, it looks like someone is just digging a hole. But behind the camera, our lenses saw movement, depth, texture, and process. Drone shots revealed the scale from above. Ground-level angles captured the force and detail. This was where the transformation truly started—and where visual storytelling mattered most. The Shell Arrival: No Second Takes Every time the fiberglass shell arrived, the energy on site changed instantly. Cranes lifting massive pool shells over two-story homes, fences, and tight backyards is something you don’t take lightly—especially when you know you only have minutes to capture it. This was the most critical moment of the entire shoot. Sometimes the entire lift and placement took five minutes or less. There was no room for mistakes. No missed shots. No “let’s try that again.” We had drone flight paths pre-planned, GoPro timelapses rolling, and handheld cameras ready for immediate photo culling. Often running lean or even single-operator crews, these moments were controlled chaos—but that’s where experience takes over. We stayed locked in, executed the plan, and delivered the shots.
Plumbing, Rebar & The Build Taking Shape Once the shell was in place, the project finally began to look like a pool. Plumbing lines, equipment installs, and rebar framing brought structure to what was once just dirt and open space. This stage is where everything starts connecting, and we shifted our focus to details—hands working, materials fitting together, crews moving with speed and purpose. It’s the halfway point of the story, where the vision becomes real and the backyard starts showing its future. Concrete & Craftsmanship Concrete day brought a different pace. Pouring and finishing typically took one to two hours, giving us time to slow down and get intentional. Creative angles, smooth motion shots, detailed photos of shovels, edges, and finishes—every frame mattered. Each backyard was different, and we treated every one like its own project, not a repeat.
The Final Reveal: Night and Day When we returned weeks later to capture the finished product, the contrast was always striking. Seeing the before and after side by side—from raw dirt and trenches to a polished backyard oasis—never lost its impact. These moments are why we document every step. Not just for marketing, but to preserve the journey. We’re proud to have been part of these transformations and to have visually documented each one from start to finish. After two years of working together, we’re proud of the trust Fiberlux Pools has placed in us and grateful to continue telling these stories across Texas. Every backyard has a process. Every build has a rhythm. Our job is to make sure it’s seen the way it deserves to be. 🎥 Filmed & Documented by Jwayne Productions 🌐 www.jwayneproductions.com Get a Pool from Fiberlux today! https://fiberluxpools.com/
